Comment: | To have access to the an ext3 partition on the Linux (xubuntu 10.10) side of my dual-boot laptop,I have installed Ext IFS 11.a on my Vista Business SP2. However, it behaves very erroneously in that Vista fails to mount that ext3 partition roughly 9 times out of 10. And when it mounts, allowing me to access (read, write) Linux files from Vista, it unmounts ever so often, particularly when the Vista comes back after being asleep for a while. I need this file access functionality desperately but have no clue on what to do to make Ext2 IFS more stable than it is... Seems that Ext2 IFS needs an overhaul. PS. Any hints on how to get around this severe problem would be most welcome via mail to me at bt@irfu.se - Bo |
