| Comment: | DriverMax Version 7.110.16 OS Vista Home Premium SP 2. Dell Inspiron 1521 I found the software very useful. The software found all drivers and updates needed on the system. I had one problem installing a USB 2.0 driver. Under investigation, I found that the web cam on this system is connected through the USB 2.0 device. Unknowingly, running DriverMax without removing the USB stub flash drive. DriveMax, reconfigured the stub drive is the USB 2.0 device, making it so that I could not access the data on the USB stub drive. After, shutting down the system and removing the USB stub drive, Re-starting and opening the device manager, then removing the driver for the USB stub and web cam, I was then able to re-install the driver for the USB 2.0 which gained my access to the web cam.I was then able to connect the USB stub flash drive and gained access to the data. Suggestions; I would like to see some help files or a users guide for the DriverMax software. Regards, Mr. Ramsey |
