Viewing the Flash Unit Firmware Version

- Attach the SB-500 ... the camera and turn both the camera and flash unit on.

- Press the camera MENU button ... SB-500 firmware version.

- Turn the camera and flash unit off.

Updating the Flash Unit Firmware

- Create a folder on ... the camera and turn on the camera and flash unit.

- Press the camera MENU button, select ... update is complete, turn off the camera and flash unit and remove the memory card.

- Turn on the camera and flash unit and confirm that the firmware has been updated to the new version.

About Camera Adapter Updates:

Updating to a different firmware version than the one already installed on the adapter can bring various changes such as improved performance and stability, add new features or enhance existing ones, but also various fixes for more or less recurrent issues.
